Somers joined Lockton in 2022 from Herbert Smith Freehills where he worked as a corporate lawyer specialising in the real estate sector
and advised clients on a range of corporate real estate transactions (including acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and structured investments). During his time at Herbert Smith Freehills, Somers spent six months in the energy team in their Singapore office and was also
seconded to the Blackstone Real Estate team in London.
