The Lockton Charitable Association (Lockton Charity) is excited to announce a partnership with Together for Short Lives as its Charity of the Year for 2025. The children’s palliative care charity works to ensure every child with a life limiting or life-threatening condition has access to the best care and support.
Through this partnership with Together for Short Lives, the Lockton Charity aims to assist in making a lasting impact on the lives of seriously ill children and their families across the UK. The funds raised during our partnership will contribute to assisting the children’s hospices who support children and families and make the most of every moment they have together.
The Charity of the Year programme enables our Associates to get involved in nominating charitable causes and to be at the very heart of our fund-raising efforts. This approach encourages exceptional levels of participation and enthusiasm from around the company.
Since the partnership commenced in late 2024, the Lockton Charity has been busy organising fundraising initiatives, reflecting its dedication to making a positive difference in local communities.
Sarah Jeffs, Chair of the Lockton Charity, said: “We are extremely proud to name Together for Short Lives as our Charity of the Year. It’s a truly deserving cause, that has our full support. Being twinned with local children’s hospices across the country gives us the opportunity to make a meaningful and positive impact at a community level.”
Nick Carroll, Chief Executive of Together for Short Lives, said: “We’re thrilled to be the Lockton Charity’s Charity of the Year. We know that their support will have an impact on the lives of seriously ill children and their families across the country and we can ensure children’s hospices can continue being there for families, providing crucial assistance through diagnosis, care, and beyond.”
